July 31, 2021 –
3301 W. 5th Ave.
Denver, CO 80204
This year the Secular Hub will be hosting & all Secular people and groups are invited!
Park in the area of the parking lot known as "360 N. Hooker Street Parking". Note this is not an address, but a place. In this case "360" means circle! If you plug into your GPS 3301 W. 5th Ave, Denver 80204 you will end up at this parking lot. From parking lot or street parking enter the park walk to the south east on the sidewalk to the first picnic area. If you get lost call any HUB member or Becky at 720-three-zero-eight-1-8-seven-5 or Claudette 303-five-1-7-three-1-0-two.
The picnic site is reserved and consists of two shelters covering 10 tables with 2 grills. There are plenty of large shade trees and a few extra picnic tables here & there. Restrooms are available but require a bit of a downhill/uphill walk.
Burgers, brats, hot dogs, and a meatless option (with buns and fixins') will be provided; the rest is potluck. Bring a picnic-type side dish to share such as chips, salads or other veggies, fruits, desserts, and so on. Bottled water will be available; otherwise it is BYOB. Paper plates, napkins, utensils, etc. will also be provided.
Bring the kids! The Barnum Park playground and pool are open and nearby. We'll also have games for the kids and for the kids at heart. The festivities will officially start at 10:30am but we have the picnic site all day.
Please RSVP to this Meetup so we have a fairly good idea of how much of the meats to buy.
